NOVEMBER 2004 -- FINANCIAL STATUS
The month of November 2004 saw my household increase its net worth to $63,601. This marks an increase of $1,270 (2%) from October, and an increase of $14,994 (30.8%) since January.
Here is the basic chart.
As for the smaller picture, my spending plan for November 2004 saw us spend all but $37.37 of our after-tax income. If you count all Freedom Account contributions as expenditures rather than savings, then we overspent our after-tax income by $138.19.
This excess expense was due to appliance repairs ($60), house maintenance ($50), pet medical expense ($76), above-average grocery expense ($427 vs. $322 avg.), and above-average dining-out expense ($76 vs. $30 avg.).
