The check arrived today, Saturday, April 30.
The person whom I spoke with this past Tuesday was pleasant enough. The check, she told me, had been cut that very day. And the "ten day window" I'd been told about previously wasn't a promise. Or a goal. It was more of a . . . best-case scenario.
It took almost one full month to receive this FSA reimbursement check. I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. Really. When our previous plan administrator could get it done — could get a check back in my hands — inside of ten days from the day I faxed them my receipts, then it tells me just one thing: These guys are either terribly inefficient, or amateurs. Or both.
